Sweet pawrent heals her broken heart by adopting two floofy fluffball kittens that steal her sadness and replace it with love: '[They] turned out to be such a blessing'

As much as we like to avoid the topic, Cheezburger-ers, we cannot avoid the circle of life. Especially as pet pawrents. We haven't yet reached the point in our medical technology to be able to make our cats live as long as we can, and so, we must prepurr ourselves for the eventuality of our sweet cats passing over the rainbow bridge. It's something every cat owner knows, but doesn't like to think about. However, there are ways to help us manage those difficult meowments, and one of the best ways to furget your grief is by falling in love with another.

Kittens have a meowgical way of making you happy. From their floofy fluffball nature to their playful purrsonalities, you just can't help but fall in love with them day after day. After losing her previous cat, one pawrent decided the best way to get over her loss was by snuggling a bonded pair of kittens, and so she adopted them both.   • Grief is just love with nowhere to go. So if you give the love somewhere to go, it can definitely help with all those big feelings. We're sure her cat would love to know that she's being snuggled with since they are not there to do it.

    The loss was too difficult i simply cannot grieve a pet without being able to snuggle another one, so we applied for 2 and got approved.

  • This is something we all have to face eventually as pet pawrents. We will most likely outlive our furbabies, and all we can do is try every day to give them the best life pawssible. Just because you get a new one doesn't mean you will ever furget them, it just means that life goes on and you go with it.
